!±8± TomTom Go 720 4.3-Inch Bluetooth Gps Navigator

Specifications: The TomTom Go 720 Gps navigator is a Gps device that is optimized for automotive navigational needs. It comes with 2Gb of built in memory and maps of the Usa and Canada. This model also has a built-in speaker, built-in microphone, Fm transmitter and Bluetooth connectivity. One of the main attractions is its huge 4.3-inch Lcd touch-screen that can display images at a 480 x 272 resolution. It is powered by a built-in lithium polymer battery (which can last up to 5 hours on one charge. This model ships with a docking station, car power adapter and a mounting bracket.

Design: The TomTom Go 720 Gps navigator has a sleek design that is a refreshing departure for Garmin's usual boxy designs. It weighs at just 7.8 ounces and measures at 4.6 x 0.9 x 3.3 inches. It has a gray-silver casing and sports curved lines and edges. When viewed from the top, the unit protrudes towards the back in a semi-circular shape. On the lowest of the device, you will find a connector port, a reset button, headphone jack, power/Usb connector, and a Sd card slot.

Features & Performance: Tom Tom has introduced a Map Share ideas where users can update the maps online and share the changes with other Tom Tom Gps navigator users. This will allow you to get the most recent changes to the maps on the device. If you are not comfortable with downloading maps that are updated by strangers, you can always pick to download those that are verified by experts. There is also a new Help Me highlight that allows you to find there nearest hospital, police center or aid town with a touch of an icon. When we turn on the TomTom Go 720 Gps navigator, it takes colse to 2 minutes (or less) for it to lock on onto a satellite signal. The audio instructions were very crisp and clear. The Text-to-speech function was also pretty good. You can also use the device to play music files.

Overall: All in all, the TomTom Go 720 Gps navigator proves to be a formidable competitor to Garmin navigators. It has a gorgeous design and navigational functions that rivals those of Garmin devices. The Bluetooth highlight seems to be only compatible with determined phones. Some external volume controls would also be useful on any Gps navigators. The TomTom Go 720 Gps navigator many not be the exquisite device but it is in entirety a pretty decent gadget. I would very advise this model for anyone who is finding to get a dependable navigator device.
